Turkey Tour - Kas

Left the boat, reluctantly, just before lunch. Visited Myra, already mentioned in previous blog entry, and the ancient church of St Nicholas, the patron saint of children and also Russia, aka Santa Claus.

Then on to Kas, and so many more greenhouses, acres of them!

Kas is a pretty seaside town, with ancient ruins, a small lively harbour, and interesting beaches- well the water is beautiful, but you need to use small platforms, and ladders to get over the rocky shore. So the beach or swimming area is a series of platforms and ladders with lots of people crowded onto them. No I didn't swim here.

And a great terrace for breakfast.
